5K May is a movement challenge for the entire month of May.
Each day, your goal is simple - Move 5km or complete 30 minutes of exercise. How you move is completely up to you — run, walk, ride, gym, swim… or mix it up. There are no rules, just movement everyday.
Regular movement has been proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression. However in Australia, around 78% of adults aged 18–64 years are insufficiently active and 45% of Australians will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime.
That’s where 5K May comes in.
We created this challenge to help people build consistent habits, feel better, and prioritise both their physical and mental wellbeing. This is more than just a challenge. It’s about showing up for yourself, building routine, and being part of a community all moving towards the same goal.
